Виникла невеличка проблема. На сторінках, де починаються розділи, нумерація все одно у кутку. Тицніть носом, де його виправляти.

Спрацювало як слід.

Такі сторінки мають свій стиль сторінки (те, що визначається командою \pagestyle). Його теж треба переозначувати.

Зазирнув у код vakthesis (і стандартного класу report, від якого походить vakthesis) і зрозумів, що сформулював не зовсім точно.

Насправді у цих класах усі сторінки мають той самий стиль: plain (якщо явно не задано інший). Але там такий механізм працює, що на початку розділу команда \thispagestyle встановлює стиль цієї конкретної сторінки (формально той самий plain, що й у інших сторінок). Тому коли fancyhdr встановлює свій стиль, то робить це для всіх сторінок, крім тих, у яких примусово встановлено стиль командою \thispagestyle.

Треба переозначити стиль plain (а не переозначити стиль окремих сторінок, як я сказав раніше). Що й робить команда \fancypagestyle у тому шматочку коду, який навів вище prapor.

Сьогодні на попередньому захисті мені геть «завернули» форматування. Виявилось, що мені дали старі вказівки по оформленню, й вони не відповідають тим що треба цього року  

Тепер усі налаштування зайві, і vakthesis повністю задовольняє нові вказівки? :-)

Те що з нього мені слід прибрати \bfseries, бо треба звичайний шрифт, то зрозуміло, але як зробити щоб слово «Розділ» не писалось, а назва самого розділу проходила через \MakeUppercase — тут я трохи загубився. :-/

Як уже, напевно, стало зрозуміло з відповіді шановного cadca, \l@chapter тільки резервує місце під \@chapapp\nobreakspace, а оте \@chapapp (тобто слово «Розділ» або «Додаток») отримує вже в комплекті з номером і назвою розділу в першому аргументі (#1). Тому треба дивитися команду \@chapter, де це слово додається до рядка для змісту.

Зауважу тільки, 1) що є трохи надлишкової інформації у його дописі (не запитували, як змінити вигляд заголовків розділів у тексті, тому немає потреби щось змінювати у \@makechapterhead та \@makeschapterhead); 2) не варто нехтувати деякими вдосконаленнями, які робить vakthesis у команді \l@chapter (зокрема, спеціальним відступом \@appendix@number@width для заголовків додатків у змісті, якщо робота містить додатки, звісно).

Про назви розділів ВЕЛИКИМИ літерами у змісті вже говорили раніше.

Отже, щоб зробити назви розділів у змісті звичайним шрифтом, великими літерами і без слова «Розділ», я б додав до преамбули свого документа таке:

Ага. Таки зробив. От казали ж не роби apt-get upgrade коли щось інше робиш.

У цьому ось рядку \newcommand\Large{\@setfontsize\Large\@xxpt{18}}.

Це видно з визначення \@makechapterhead. Там використано саме \Large.
