The VEU Sourcing Company is now announcing about an opening for the position of System Administrator from Eastern Europe to work on the Client’s site in the USA.
The Client provides relocation and paperwork assistance.
The candidates should meet the following requirement:
- 3+ years experience in administering/maintaining of high-volume or critical production service environment
- Solid working knowledge of *nix (Linux) is a must
- Ability to read and understand complex code written in of: Java / C++ / Python
- Ability to write simple/mid-level code in one of: Java / C++ / Python
- Experience in 24/7 support
- Understanding of one or more of: Shell, PHP, Perl or Python;
- SQL experience is a must, MySQL a plus
- Fluent written and good verbal communications (English) is a must
The hired candidate will be responsible for:
- System administration
- System maintenance and support
- Minor Java/C++/Python development for occasional bug fixes
- Analyze IP network behavior, performance and application issues using standard tools
